The Garden
Our newly built timber garden provides something really special for the children at Sansway.
The beautiful design blends with the tranquil surroundings – we have fields behind, big wonderful trees coving around our natural play space.

Sheltered play areas lead directly from our playrooms encouraging our nursery principle to allow toddlers & pre school the opportunity to choose where they play! Including indoor’s or out. 
The shelters provide shade from the sun on hot days but also ensure the great outdoor fun can continue even in the pouring rain!

Every day we bring our learning outdoors leaf rubbing, mud pie making, apple picking, bug hunting, chalking – too much to mention here.
Babies bring out their tubes, pasta, shredded paper, crayons, paints and more!

Children can develop so many skills out here both socially and physically – balancing the rope beam, catching & throwing, climbing the special wall, hiding in tunnels, making pretend tea in our big play house, racing the bikes around the paths, chatting on a friendship bench or digging for treasure in the sand!

Babies – have outdoor playtime every day in their own safe soft floored area surrounded by chimes, wall bars to hold & balance on tiny feet, soft sand with tubs full of toys.

Nature Area

We have a bird look out tower to see the baby birds nesting in boxes in our trees, bird feeding tables and children’s tuff cameras for our budding photographers to snap shots outdoors.

Children take part in gardening in our nature area both flowers & vegetables, we had some pretty giant sunflower successes and making sandwiches with home grown tomatoes, cucumber & cress always taste so much better.
