About Sansway House

Sansway House opened in February 2000 and is jointly owned by sisters Kelly Allaway and Alison Starkie. Sansway House is a large detached property with an extensive rear garden, located close to the City Farm.
A well established small setting providing a really personal approach to local childcare needs. A homely environment allowing little ones to feel secure enough to explore, meet new friends and develop new skills.
We open Monday to Friday 7:30am-6pm throughout the year except bank holidays.

Bristol Standard accredited setting – a wonderful self evaluation framework which we continually work on to always improve on our previous best. Celebrating the wonder of childhood through well-informed and reflective practice.
We pride ourselves in having a long serving staff team whom we cherish and appreciate! Your child will benefit from the same familiar face each day.
All staff, volunteers and temporary cover staff will have full enhanced criminal record bureau checks through Sansway before any contact with children – as a small setting we are able to oversee and supervise all of our members all of the time.
Staff receive a continued training programme throughout the year (can be viewed in our office training file) updating new regulations. Policies, curriculum guidance, special needs/child protection to name a few.
Our staff team hold current paediatric first aid certificates and food hygiene training.
